Ewa Pękalska is an expert at finding Lutheran, Catholic, and Jewish genealogy records that are not available online or outside Poland.

As an exceptionally experienced researcher in Polish archives, Ewa locates church and civil records, as well as court records and property deeds. She specializes in the former Prussian provinces of Brandenburg, Pomerania, East Prussia, West Prussia, Posen, and Silesia. Fluent in Polish, English, German, Latin, and Russian, Ewa also provides translations of genealogy records.

The 1853 Volksbuch record at the top of this page is a rare German inhabitants’ list or census. This is just one example of Ewa’s expertise in finding records thought lost in the former Prussia.
